With Gold Finger, generating access reports is as simple as selecting reports, specifying a scope, and pressing a button –
Select Effective Delegated Access Reports in the Capability selector drop-down.
Navigate to the Reports pane and locate the access report you wish to generate
Tip: You can use the Category dropdown to view only those security reports that pertain to a specific category
Enter the scope of your report by entering the distinguished name (DN) of an Active Directory domain, organizational unit or container within which to run the report
Tip: You can also enter the DN of a specific Active Directory object if you wish have Gold Finger assess access only on that object. You can use the inbuilt target locator to easily determine the DN of common Active Directory objects.
Click the Gold Finger button (located on the right-hand side of the Reports pane) to generate the report
After a few moments, if report generation was successful, you should see the results of your report in the Results pane
To generate mulitple reports, press Alt-M to activate Multiple Reports mode. In this mode, you can select as many reports as you wish, and then click the Gold Finger button. To return to the single report mode, you can press Alt-M again
