Daniel Ulrichs is an Active Directory Security focused Senior Executive Consultant at TrueSec, one of Sweden's top cyber and IT infrastructure security consulting companies.
Siddharth Sawkar is an IT Architect at the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) where he works on the design and implementation of enterprise grade Microsoft Windows Server based IT security infrastructures. Prior to this role, Sawkar was an Enterprise Strategy Consultant for US Central Command, where he worked on designing and implementing infosec solutions for the US military efforts in the Middle East.
Siddharth has over twenty years of experience on Microsoft's security solutions. Siddharth started his career at Microsoft Corporation with the enterprise Active Directory support team where he worked on providing mission-critical support to Microsoft's enterprise customers. He then went to work for an internal Microsoft Security Response team, where he contributed his expertise on Microsoft's Active Directory and Certificate Services technologies towards Microsoft's global security efforts.
In 2004, Siddharth was assigned to White House Communications Agency as Microsoft's on-site Security and Active Directory Consultant. In this role, he helped design and implement solutions that directly supported the President. He has also worked with many Department of Defense organizations such as the Air Force, Defense Information Systems Agency, Joint Chiefs of Staff and Joint Force Command.
Siddharth holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin.
Ursula Sinkewicz is an IT Director at Fidelity Investments who specializes in Directory Services and File Services. She is responsible for designing and engineering large scale infrastructure implementations of Active Directory, LDAP, and Microsoft Identity Integration Server (MIIS). She recently completed designing a major upgrade of a 100 TB file services infrastructure.
Before joining Fidelity, Ursula was at Digital Equipment Corporation developing UNIX, networking and distributed computing products. She did the TCP/IP networking changes on Digital's UNIX based symmetric multiprocessing platform. She worked on several advanced research projects including threads on multiprocessor systems and an object broker system. She was responsible for several DCE RPC product releases.
She has a graduate degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in applied mathematics and undergraduate degrees from the George Washington University in mathematics and physics.
Ursula has spoken at several technology conferences and has published a number of papers on multiprocessing and networking. She has presented several papers recently at the Directory Experts Conferences on Active Directory failover and disaster recovery.
Amar Singh is a Trusted Cyber Security Advisor for numerous organizations worldwide including SAB Miller, Siemens, BBC, Reuters, News International, EuroMoney Institutional Investor, British Petroleum (BP), ATOS, and numerous other prominent British and other multinational corporations. Amar has also been an interim C-Level executive at numerous organizations, where he was brought in to help reduce their risk exposure, deploy post incident remediation, build security teams, increase cyber resiliency and mature their information security and data privacy posture.
Amar is also the Chair of the Information Systems Audit and Control Associationís (ISACA) UK Security Advisory Group, a judge for SC Magazine Awards, guest lecturer at universities, analyst, critic & reviewer for publishing houses and a mentor to CISOs. Both a doer and a business strategist, Amar has a proven track record in driving change, transformation and tactical delivery. Amar is known for his ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the business.
Amar is also an industry acknowledged expert and public speaker and is regularly invited to speak and share his insights by some of the largest and most respected organizations in the world including The BBC, The Economistís Intelligence Unit, SC Magazine, InfoSec Magazine, The Financial Times, and other well-respected publications and media houses.
Peter Ridgway is a highly experienced, outcome and security focused Executive Technologist, whose work has helped enhance the security posture of several prominent organizations worldwide, including the National Health Service, United Kingdom, the Department of Commerce, Government of Australia, and several other organizations in the United Kingdom and beyond.
Peterís most recent work with the University of Western Australia, the Royal Automobile Club and the Department of Commerce on strategic use of Information and Technology has established an Institutional Research Data Store (IRDS), PCI-DSS Compliance, integrated Service Management and Strategic roadmaps.
Before moving to Australia, Peter worked at a national level with the National Health Service in Wales, UK, using his experience with integrated identity and Microsoft solutions to deliver the National Active Directory and Exchange (NADEX) environment as a core enabler for the Individual Health Record across all primary and secondary care in the country. Designs for high assurance PKI, service monitoring and infrastructure management systems using Microsoft solutions were also part of his work. Extending access to other government sectors, ensuring security and service availability soon followed.
Prior to the NHS, with skills in teaching, and experience in IT and Business, Peter started his own company with the aim to provide guidance to Company Directors on their use of Information and Technology. Clients in retail, hospitality and agriculture were helped to discover new ways to connect their systems and information securely, deriving value whilst reducing cost.
A graduate of the University of Glasgow, Peter has a Masterís degree in Information Systems Security, and is CISSP and TOGAF Practitioner certified. He is a Chartered IT Professional with the British Computer Society, a Certified Professional with the Australian Computer Society, and a member of the Australian Information Security Association.
Daniel Ulrichs is a Senior Executive Consultant at TrueSec, focused on Active Directory Security. He is also a speaker and highly appreciated trainer.
With over a decade of valuable experience in Active Directory security, Daniel has learned to holistically view the cyber security posture of an IT infrastructure. Given his deep interest and focus on identity and privilege management with Active Directory and its security components, he has performed scalable designs, migrations and consolidations of advanced infrastructures for numerous organizations in Sweden.
Daniel is also a Microsoft Certified Professional focused on Active Directory security and in his current role, he assists numerous organizations towards helping them enhance their foundational cyber security posture. He is also an active member of our global Active Directory Security community.
Daniel has helped Swedish Government agencies, banks, universities and organizations in other industries in enhancing the security of their foundational Active Directory infrastructure.
