Siddharth Sawkar

Siddharth Sawkar is an IT Architect at the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) where he works on the design and implementation of enterpise grade Microsoft Windows Server based IT security infrastructures. Prior to this role, Sawkar was an Enterprise Strategy Consultant for US Central Command, where he worked on designing and implementing infosec solutions for the US military efforts in the Middle East.

Siddharth has over ten years of experience on Microsoft’s security solutions. Siddharth started his career at Microsoft Corporation with the enterprise Active Directory support team where he worked on providing mission-critical support to Microsoft’s enterprise customers. He then went to work for an internal Microsoft Security Response team, where he contributed his expertise on Microsoft’s Active Directory and Certificate Services technologies towards Microsoft’s global security efforts.

In 2004, Siddharth was assigned to White House Communications Agency as Microsoft’s on-site Security and Active Directory Consultant. In this role, he helped design and implement solutions that directly supported the President. He has also worked with many Department of Defense organizations such as the Air Force, Defense Information Systems Agency, Joint Chiefs of Staff and Joint Force Command.

Siddharth holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin.





Ursula Sinkewicz

Ursula Sinkewicz is an IT Director at Fidelity Investments who specializes in Directory Services and File Services. She is responsible for designing and engineering large scale infrastructure implementations of Active Directory, LDAP, and Microsoft Identity Integration Server (MIIS). She recently completed designing a major upgrade of a 100 TB file services infrastructure.

Before joining Fidelity, Ursula was at Digital Equipment Corporation developing UNIX, networking and distributed computing products. She did the TCP/IP networking changes on Digital's UNIX based symmetric multiprocessing platform. She worked on several advanced research projects including threads on multiprocessor systems and an object broker system. She was responsible for several DCE RPC product releases.

She has a graduate degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in applied mathematics and undergraduate degrees from the George Washington University in mathematics and physics.

Ursula has spoken at several technology conferences and has published a number of papers on multiprocessing and networking. She has presented several papers recently at the Directory Experts Conferences on Active Directory failover and disaster recovery.
