The Company
Paramount Defenses Inc is a privately held IT security company engaged in the development of tactical and strategic, national and corporate, security defenses that address paramount global IT security needs.
Our Background
Over 85% of IT infrastructures worldwide, including those of virtually every government and business institution, run on Microsoft's Windows Server platform, and at the very foundation of security in these infrastructures lies Active Directory.
Paramount Defenses was established by former Microsoft Program Manager for Active Directory Security and operates under the guidance of a distinguished Advisory Board, led by Microsoft's former Chief Information Security Officer.
Today, Paramount Defenses is one of only five ISVs in the world recognized by Microsoft Corporation as a valuable partner in the mission-critical directory services based identity and access management space.
Delivering Tactical Defenses
The need to precisely know who has access to what IT resources is an essential risk management capability that is paramount to security. As paramount and as essential as it is, this elemental infosec capability is non–existent today.
Unable to precisely (and thus reliably) assess currently provisioned access, organizations are unable to adequately protect their IT assets. Consequently, IT assets at business and government institutions worldwide remain exposed to the risk of swift and colossal compromise.
Paramount Defenses has developed and delivered Gold Finger, the world's first IT security and access assessment solution that empowers organizations running on the Microsoft Windows platform to reliably assess provisioned access on IT assets and adequately secure their IT assets. The currently available version focuses on access assessments in Active Directory.
Gold Finger, arguably the most powerful IT security analysis solution in the world, fulfills a paramount global security need.
Pursuing Strategic Defenses
At the very heart of information security at business and government organizations across the world lie security infrastructures, an integrated set of distributed security services that collectively deliver the protection controls required to adequately protect an organization's information and IT assets.
As the guardians of the entirety of an organization's information and IT assets, security infrastructures play a vital role in business and national security. The protection and defense of an organization's security infrastructure is thus a matter of paramount importance.
Paramount Defenses is engaged in developing and delivering a suite of modular and integrated security infrastructure protection solutions for the Windows platform and beyond, that individually address specific security needs, and collectively deliver the comprehensive protection needed to adequately protect the security infrastructures of over 85% of organizations.
These security solutions will deliver a highly innovative set of capabilities that significantly raise the protection and value bar in areas such as security auditing and compliance, identity and access management, and host and end-point protection.
